We need a more humane, sustainable, ethical, safe, and nutritious food system, NOW. But to get there, we must change the status quo by crafting a new public narrative around food. Building that new narrative involves three main pillars:
- adapting to new forums,
- bringing ethical products to the masses, and
- deploying captivating narratives.
Your products have the power to change the world. Plant Powered Growth was founded in 2024 by Allie Molinaro to help plant-based businesses succeed by bringing their offerings to the world in a fresh, creative, and compelling way as effectively as possible.

about me
I started my career wanting to help businesses be more sustainable, and so after college I went back to get a Master’s in Corporate Sustainability Management. But as I supplemented my education with internships, my career pivoted toward government policy. I quickly became horrified by the environmental impact, public health risks, worker abuse, and animal suffering in our food system, and decided to focus solely on food system reform.
Fast forward a few years, and my career in public policy was thriving. I was good at it, and people told me I was going places. I was asked to speak on panels and go to Capitol Hill. But there was one problem: I didn’t feel like I was really making an impact for animals. As soon as we passed a bill–which often only required modest improvements for farm animal welfare–Big Ag would find a way to weaken or repeal it a few years later.
I knew in my heart that the path to lasting change wasn’t to strongarm bills through the legislature, it was to fundamentally change the social narrative around what we eat and why we eat it.
I wanted people to fall in love with treating animals, people, and our planet with kindness though plant-based living, just like I did. And so, I created Plant Powered Growth to help the businesses making plant-based eating possible succeed by creating new narratives around food.
We have all the tools to create a more ethical, sustainable, humane, and nutritious food system. We just have to build it–together.
